Join us in JUne and July for an 8 week Summer Mentored Internship!!!
"The Well" is an internship opportunity open to young adults (at least 20 years old) in Sofia, Bulgaria. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to grow in your own understanding of what it means to live for something larger than yourself and what God’s purposes are for you. You will live in community with your fellow American and Bulgarian interns and have close contact with members of the long-term church-planting team. You will be challenged to examine your own identity in Christ, including a closer examination of the Gospel’s application to you and every area of your life, as well as learning what your own unique gifts are and how God wants to use them for His Kingdom. You will be enfolded into the active work of the church planting team and participate in the joys and difficulties of serving Christ cross-culturally. You will have many opportunities to share the Gospel in a cross-cultural setting in both structured and unstructured environments.
Internship duration: 8 weeks
Dates: Depart June 4th and return July 31st.
Cost: $5250 includes airfare and all expenses from the time of your arrival at your local airport until your return. However, you should bring extra funds for personal snacks, souvenirs, etc.
The internship will include, but not be limited to, the following:
•Regular times of engaging with the Scriptures and discerning how they apply to the many realms of life
•Frequent opportunities to interact with long-term team members/mentors as we seek the Lord together
•Experiencing community life together with other interns and team members
•Daily opportunities for worship
•Learning what it means to live out the Gospel in another cultural setting
•Engaging in outreach ministries through teaching English and mercy ministries
•A week-long hike in some of the most beautiful mountains of the Balkans region of Europe
•Other field trips and opportunities to interact with the local culture in new and exciting ways
•Weekend train trip to Istanbul, Turkey
